Dermacosmetics have several characteristics that make them different from other cosmetic products: they are non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic, do not contain parabens, are dermatologically or ophthalmologically tested . There are ranges on the market specially created for each type of skin, as adjuvant or maintenance treatment for various skin conditions, they are tested both in the laboratory and in vivo according to the protocols of pharmaceutical clinical studies, so that they can be used safely for the daily care of skin, hair or nails.
These products can contain in very small quantities ingredients that exfoliate the skin, have a slight anti-inflammatory effect, a capacity to moisturize and protect the skin, strengthen the collagen and elastin network in the dermis, depigment.
Dermacosmetics are tested to reduce and eliminate the potential to cause allergic reactions, to irritate the eyes, to develop photosensitivity reactions. It is known that many common cosmetic products that contain perfume irritate our skin when we go to the beach or leave pigment spots on the areas where they were applied!
The fact that dermacosmetics do not contain many preservatives (parabens), dyes, perfumes or very large amounts of them makes them safer from the point of view of tolerance by problem skin.
